...This month in Asia, Myammar and China have all experienced the worst disasters in decades...
On May 12th, 2008, an 8.0 magnitude earthquake in China's south-western Sichuan province has killed more than 67,000 people.
Back in 2005, my boyfriend (now husband) and I went on the trip to SiChuan. It is a province in China and was the most populated area before Chongqing becomes municipal city. It is a beautiful place and people from that area are very passionate for life. They love their home, food and people. There are several World Culture Heritages in Sichuan: Jiu Zhai Gou, Huang Long...
Si chuan has been historically known as the "Province of Abundance", It is one of the majore agricultural production province in China. Majority of people are farmers living at villages not includes the capital city Cheng Du and several other relatively big cities.
This month's earthquake has damaged the places we have past by on our trip, people there lost their home. Till today, many places in SiChuan are still under the fear of aftershock. Yesterday, there was a 5.4 magnitude aftershock happened at QingChuan in SiChuan. lakes formed by land slides caused by earthquake force thousands of people to evacute, to leave their home due to flood risk.
Le Shan Giant Budda in Si chuan, please calm the 'earth anger', protect your people from suffering!!

We pray for those people who have suffered in the recent natural disasters; we hope they rest in peace; we will all help you get back to normal life.
